Ah, Summer....

Still one more month of SUMMER VACATION...... I love to sleep late, shop anytime I want and just have a chance to regroup.  To my husband summer vacation is his worst nightmare.  He is constantly telling me, "Not everyone has off all summer," "What time are you coming to bed?"  "How much stuff did you buy?"

Last week, I went out for a fresh cup of ice coffee, a bag of dog food and a bag of Pirates Booty.  (The Pirate Booty was for him, as an I'm sorry for coming to bed at 1:45 am and woke you up.)  Well that small quick trip to the store turned into this....

A new year, needs new bins! Out with no matching and yucky baskets

.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law teach high school they don't do chevron and fun baskets.  So I made them these NEON fun table numbers and number circles.  My sister-in-law is going to have her students use them on their science lab supply boxes.  Bright and fun!

Thank you for making it all the way down to the end of my novel.  I am making these BRIGHT NEON numbers free until   2:45 E.S.T Until 6 pm E.S.T
Please leave me some love so I know you enjoyed it!  :)

More Polka Dot Cuteness...

If you haven't seen Whimsy Clips you must get moving over there.  She is AMAZING!  Her attention to detail in the illustrations are exact.

My next door neighbor was having a party and asked me if I could make her table numbers.  I whipped these up for her.  She was so shocked that I didn't just do the printed number in a picture frame idea. "These are beautiful, you should sell them!" she squealed.  So I took her advice, I thought they would great for a classroom theme!  So here they are.  I included 5 different color accents, all on a black and white polka dot background.

I Heart Polka Dots.  Always have and always will.

Bright, Sweet, Polka Dots!

My nephew just turned 5 and will be heading to kindergarten in September.  I asked him what he thinks his classroom will look like.  His response, "A Candy Store! With so many things to pick!"
So I created this Sweet Candy Classroom set.
When I emailed my sister-in-law a picture of my work to show him.  He told me it looks like cotton candy!

S-W-E-E-T-N-E-S-S!!

On a side note, my pile of school supply swag is currently being hidden from my husband.  But I am slowly taking pictures of it all to share with you.
What have you been doing?

My 3 favorite words.. Chalkboard, Chevron, Dots.

I now have somewhat of a feeling as to how a DJ feels at a party.  Requests are nice to get, and it's so hard to say no!  As it turns out this summer, I am taking requests from all the teachers I've worked with and also some very sweet supporters of my little TpT store.

What started out as a personalized good-bye gift from me to my student teacher,  has turned into chevron, chalkboard and polka dot heaven!  Since officially starting summer vacation on June 27, I have created word walls and alphabet charts of all styles, all colors!  I even printed them out on card stock and laminated them for a teacher who is on a medical leave.  ** She is on her own to cut them out ;) **

Funny thing, is my husband doesn't seem to get it. Actually, he  thinks I'm still working on the same product.  He walked pasted me last week and said, "Geez, You're still doing that!  Maybe you should begin something else on that to-do list!"  Shows how little he knows!

So these are the sets.  I am talking a break for now to do the other things on that to-do list.

I never actually got started with the whole Candy Crush Craze.  But these cards made me rethink it!  I will add it to the bottom of my to-do list!

These are REVERSED Black and White Polka Dot Word Wall Words.

I believe when something/someone is good to you, they should be rewarded.   MY PRINTER has been VERY good to me.  So good that I decided to make polka dots with less black.  The printer thanks me.  Here is the link to my printer.  I love it so much and it never lets me down.   The price is an investment, but it saves me time and money.  I have had going on the 3rd summer and I think I refilled the ink two times.  You can check it out here.

Everything needs to match so here are the alphabet posters.

One friend was looking for color, so she got chevron!

What colors do you like together?  I still can't decide on ,y class theme.  I travel to a few schools and I also have different grades.  I just do it all!  (except cook, clean and the other boring stuff)

Ruff Life....

Monday, June 10, 2013
Apparently size doesn't matter.  The little guy decides that HE will lay in on the big bed.   All this commotion all while my husband is trying to repaint the wall.   Ahh what a way to spend Monday night!  Just look at those faces.... Two dogs grateful to be rescued and living the good life!  They are spoiled, spoiled dogs.

This is how I spent Monday Morning!  I have to park my car four city blocks from my school (that's where I rent a parking spot.  Ahh, life in the big city!)  I just happen to have flip flops in the trunk. (You never know when you might be in mood for a fresh pedicure!)  So I rolled up my pants and walked. The crossing guard looked at me, like I was crazy!  I just nodded and waved good morning.   I got to school, dried my feet and was ready for whatever Monday had for me!

How was YOUR Monday?

Take a look at these two AWESOME giveaways!  The prizes are unreal!  Head over and enter for your chance to win the loot!

My student teacher has graduated and left our class last week.  As a parting gift, my class and I created some personal items for her future classroom. After she left our class, it looks like she just left the teacher supply store!  I made her a custom word wall with her favorite primary colors and polka dots!  She also got my rainbow chevron word wall too. I laminated the words for her and my students cut out everything for her.   I am going to create some additional piece for her.

The teacher I share a room wants to go back old school.  So I created these for her classroom and my teaching corner   Who would have thought that with SMART boards and IPads we would want old school chalkboard themes!

The calendar kit will have some added pieces to the set.

If you made it all the way done here, do tell, What's your theme for next year?
