Fall Fun

Sunday, October 20, 2013
Fall Festivities are always fun!  The leaves are changing, Apple Cider, Pumpkins, Costumes and so much more.  Living in the Northeast this season really is Mother Nature at her best.

One of my very first products, Autumn Centers, has been given a little face lift and has been added to.  Now this resource has several activities to do during the those festive times.  Both last year and this year, I had 1 boy that could not celebrate any holidays.  But I still wanted him to enjoy the season.  So this year, I will be inviting all the students on our grade that cannot participate in  the school Halloween Parade into my classroom for a day of AUTUMN FUN!  My class will attend part of the parade with the class para-professionals and then come back to enjoy the fun with us.   They saw me printing the items in school and then I had them laminated and I heard a few kids whisper and say, "I hope we do those games."

This year we will be doing
Pumpkin Poetry, Pumpkin Writing, Pumpkin Painting and drawing.

Pumpkin Weighing, Pumpkin Circumference and then Pumpkin Counting fun!

Created new for this year are several activities about sequencing and How a Pumpkin Grows.
These hands on, differentiated activities show the different stages a seed goes through to become a pumpkin, ready in time for Fall Fun!

For those ready to celebrate and have a SPOOKY TIME during the month of October, here is a math activity using many different fun ten frame activities.
